Stunning 1930s wool ski jacket in a very deep blue/ black colour. Asymmetrical front fasten, side buckle fastening. Two slanted side pockets, throat latch at the collar, gathered sides at the waist. Beautiful early piece of sportswear design.

Measurements:

Shoulder to shoulder seam: 18.5”

Armpit to armpit across the chest: 23”

Armpit to cuff sleeve length: 23”

Length collar centre to hem down the back: 22”

Condition:

Not bad for the age. Generally the condition is good, there are a couple of small repairs, some areas of surface wear and spots of damage to the wool. A couple of tiny holes. The elastic on the sides has lost its stretch and feels brittle.
