Antique 1900s Striped Cotton Skirt
Antique striped French skirt, dating to around 1900. Really nice heavy cotton fabric with a woven blue and red patterned stripe running through. Small monogram stitched on the waistband front. Simple construction, slightly gathered at the waist on the front with heavily gathered rear tied at the waist with a drawstring.
Measurements:
Across the waist: Maximum about 17” across to about 12” minimum
Length dow the front: 32”, and rear is 33”
Condition: Very good, with no wear to the fabric at all. There are however some very faint spots of marking on close inspection in white areas in a couple of places, but very faint and doesn’t detract from the skirt.
